Support for the International Copyright system

Copyrights are exclusive rights and ownership granted to the author or creator of an original work. Copyrights first were for the copying of books and then extended to translations, maps, paintings, photographs, sound recordings/music, films and computer software. I support the framework for copyright use by the international world. I believe that the artists/writers/musician and businesses etc should profit from their works. It is the duty of the publishers/producers and governments to protect the financial rights of the creator of media and all copyrighted materials.
Since the Internet has spread information and all content, video, text, images, books and all data that is digital, the copyright framework is threatened because the amount of pirated and illegal distribution of copyrighted material is higher now than ever before. I believe copyrights should be enforced but it is almost impossible in the way movies/music etc are downloaded and sold. The western and eastern governments need to work together to protect the copyrights of materials.

I believe that the western nations should help make the Eastern world stronger and if they continue to use us as markets for their copyrighted materials and withdraw cash and resources from the eastern region. It is the job of the international governments and artists and creators of copyrighted material to spread the rewards of entertainment and business profits with the developing world that are vast markets for resources and cheap labor and have been made this way by the dominance of international governments and through the use of copyrights.

Building schools and social development need to be aided by the profits from the copyrights in media and Internet in the world. Development and social change are important and so are the protections of the artist and creator of all books/media/art etc. The international governments should help create change at a grass roots level to continue cooperation with the Eastern world so they respect and work with their copyright laws because this adds billions of dollars a year to the US and Europe etc.
